Estas was founded in 1973 as the first investment in Turkey for manufacturing camshafts of automotive engines. Today as an incorporation, Estas manufactures camshafts for more than 650 different engines in a total of 25,660 m2 buildings on 70,000 m2 land with 315 employees and a capacity of 500,000 pcs per shift which equates to 1.5 million camshafts per year.
Estas is not only a machining plant, but also a foundry too. Estas foundry casts camshaft blanks as chilled cast and this facility provides a great advantage to Estas machining plant in order to supply various and good quality camshafts as standard and performance. The capacity of casting is 1,500,000 camshafts without machining per year. Ductile iron and gray iron castings are performed as well.
Besides cast camshafts, Estas also produces steel camshafts by using induction and carborising hardening methods.
Estas supplies camshafts as an original equipment manufacturer to 14 automotive vehicle producers and exports to 21 countries all over the world.
Estas has ISO TS 16949 and ISO 9001 certifications of RW TUV / GERMANY and implements the necessities of quality control specifications in all processes of the production as an original equipment manufacturer.
